The expansion project of Shaozhou Water Plant in Shaoguan City (formerly Xihe No.2 Water Plant) is a major livelihood water conservancy project constructed during the 13th Five-Year Plan period in Guangdong Province, and it is one of the livelihood projects that the Shaoguan municipal government has promised to carry out for the people. Guangzhou Xinao undertakes the construction of the disinfection process equipment - sodium hypochlorite generators for Shaoguan Shaozhou Water Plant in the BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) mode. That is, Guangzhou Xinao invests in the construction and operation of the sodium hypochlorite generators, produces sodium hypochlorite disinfectant that meets national standards for drinking water disinfection, and sells it to Shaoguan Shaozhou Water Plant. Guangzhou Xinao has the right to operate the sodium hypochlorite generators of this project for ten years.
